Taika is the national treasure of New Zealand. He’s been making iconic tv shows in movies that are loved by Kiwis, like What We Do in the Shadows, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
He broke into the international film business when he directed Thor: Ragnarok and won an Academy Award for Jojo Rabbit earlier this year.
He’s known for being silly, so this photo of him at home doing some face painting with his kids comes as no surprise!

This young award winning artist has spent her whole career making statements about the way women are objectified in the industry. Even at her young age, she’s made some profound comments about how women can’t win and will always be given negative labels.
“The body I was born with – is it not what you wanted? If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I’m a slut. Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why?”
So it’s no surprise that she’s playing with some creative looks during the lockdown. And ummmm look at that puppy!
