9+ Things overlooked in movies that bother people

13. Grease teaches teens to change to be accepted

We always hear the words “accept who you are” or “be yourself”. It is a short but direct encouragement to self-love and self-acceptance. But if you ever watch the movie «Grease» with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, it seems that a person needs to change to be accepted by the cool kids at school. It’s not really a good thing to teach our teenagers.

14. Jason has grown.

In the movie “Friday the 13th”, Jason drowned when he was still 11 years old. Have you ever thought about why he grew up and became a man behind serial murders? Shouldn’t he have stayed like an 11-year-old and become the creepiest and youngest killer in movie history?

15. Story of Mike and James

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, from Monsters Inc., just met at the college, which is also from another film, “Monsters University”. If that’s the case, then what did James mean in that dialogue about their knowledge of each other since the fourth grade? And Mike didn’t even fix it. Was it a slip-up or did their story really start earlier than we thought?

16. This dad seems to have a favorite child

In the film «Interstellar», Matthew McConaughey had two children. But he seemed to have a favourite because he certainly focused on his daughter. What about his son? We didn’t see much of him in the movie. A little parenting, huh.
